Disinfection Tunnel

Disinfection Tunnel

Coronavirus disinfection tunnel also known as sanitization tunnel is precautionary measure to curb the spread of Coronavirus leading to deadly disease called COVID-19.

The way the disinfection tunnel works is reminiscent of the body scanner at the airport: The person enters the tunnel and stops with outstretched arms. The disinfectant is sprayed through nozzles to form a fine mist of water which is deposited on all surfaces in the tunnel - skin and clothing, bags or even smartphones. The disinfection process is completed in 15 seconds.

The "Ersa" disinfectant that is used is harmless for the human organism, therefore no protective equipment is necessary when using it.

This makes the DisinfecTunnel unique:

  • The tunnel works with a high-pressure system (70 bar)
  • The system has been designed in such a way that extremely little water and consequently little disinfectant is required (0.5 l/min)
  • The tunnel is operated only with drinking water and domestic electricity
  • The DisinfecTunnel is easy to assemble (folding tent, assembly time approx. 15 minutes) and can, therefore, be easily set up again
  • The water is atomized into very small droplets (between 1 and 30 microns)
  • The DisinfecTunnel can also be used to disinfect objects such as shopping carts, goods (at goods receiving), etc.
